This is a capture of me playing through the Hypersonic League Argium Cup in FAST Fusion for the Switch 2. This is a downloadable title from Shin'en.
Since I just recently finished posting FAST RMX, I decided not to wait and to instead record FAST Fusion right now. I only picked up my Switch 2 on June 17 because the Best Buy website screwed me over when I tried to preorder. I had to get lucky and call a local GameStop as soon as they received a restock of consoles. So for the past few weeks I have been trying to learn this game along with Mario Kart World (not to mention my massive Switch backlog).
FAST Fusion’s new feature is combining vehicles to make better racers. I generally like the Mueller PLS, but I thought it would be good to combine it with a smaller, more nimble vehicle (in this case, the Spaarc Unlimited), and that gave me a vehicle with an A rating, which is pretty good. You can actually go as high as A++.
Aside from the vehicle fusing, there’s a new jump button, which is a neat addition. I also noticed some more refinement to the controls, and your vehicle now seems to stick to the boost pads, which helps quite a bit.
Overall, this is another great addition to the series, which I have been playing since the WiiWare days. Hopefully there will be some free DLC down the road.
In this video I completed the Hypersonic League Argium Cup using the Muelarc Unlimited.
Recorded with the Elgato Game Capture HD60 and the Switch 2's HDMI cable at native 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second. I'm using a Joy-Con 2 Wheel.
