1. Target after opening the chest
2. Immediately after releasing target, hold upleft and roll
3. Right as the roll ends, press Clawshot and Target
4. Walk past the line before the wall, then Clawshot the target
You can see the 2nd and 3rd attempts hit target a bit later, so it ended up hitting the target further right. You can also micro adjust if the Clawshot misses, but this is pretty consistent for me.
