Broccoli Cheddar Soup Recipe:
4 cups Chicken Broth
1 can Cream of Celery Soup
1 bag Frozen Broccoli Florets (10 oz)
1 stick Butter
1 medium Onion chopped
1/4 cup Flour
2 cups Milk
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
1 cup Cheddar Cheese
1. Combine chicken broth and celery soup and bring to a boil. Add frozen broccoli and reduce heat. Simmer five minutes.
2. In a separate pan, melt butter. Add onions and cook onions until soft and translucent. Stir in flour to onion mixture, allow to cook for a few minutes to remove the raw flour taste. Add milk in gradually. Combine milk and flour mixture. Cook until thick. Add salt and pepper.
3. Add milk mixture into the broth mixture. Stir to combine.
4. Add cheddar cheese and mix well.
