This is both a flush 1x1 trapdoor and a hidden crafting table in one. Every 4 button presses, it will cycle between these 4 states: Crafting Table, Open, Open, Closed.
It takes up a total of 3x5x8, or 120 blocks.

This 5x5 uses a modified .6s layout to shave a reset move while simplifying inputs. New knowledge of 0-tick repeaters and B O A T allows for a extremely small size while still being (mostly) non-locational.
Closing: 0.3s, 0 reset
Opening: 0.6s, .15s Reset

This is the tutorial of the 5x5 piston door I recently showcased. It it extremely fast and compact, has a nice opening sequence, and is still non-locational and not too difficult to build.
