Black soldier fly farmers are calling upon Government to establish designated organic waste collection points to ensure a reliable supply of feedstock for insect farming.
The call was made by Julius Mugonza the principal entomologist in the ministry of Agriculture industries and fisheries (MAAIF) during the Uganda Climate-Smart Agriculture Transformation Project (UCSATP) training for district entomologists and beneficial insects value chain focal persons at Kawanda National Agricultural Research Organization.
