Dear 4A1,
Thanks for being a great class - you were exactly how I expected my first Form Class to be. :) I'm not sure whether I'll get to be a teacher or not in future - maybe I'll be too old and tired by the time I get to teach again, maybe God wants me to follow another calling somewhere, or maybe my family will go through huge changes so I'll have to go somewhere else - regardless, you are an unforgettable class. It's really hard to forget you.
As a Christian, I find it a huge privilege to be able to teach a class like yours - it is a huge chance to love and to be able to do what I think God has called me to. I guess that's why I always share about how God has loved us, how He created us and how He sent Jesus to die for our sins on the cross. God is a huge part of my life, and you are a huge part of my life. In some sense, I want you all to understand me more, I want to be known by you all properly, so that's why I keep telling you about the part of my life you never see at church.
That's why I always say: whether you're a Malay, Indian, Chinese, or even if you're not a Singaporean, I can love you all the same. I know I'm picky against name-calling, I don't like vulgarities, and I don't like how people tease others. These might seem like small things, but they all accumulate, and affect how we are supposed to love each other.
Sounds super cheesy and lame. These are the things I find it hard to tell a group of young teenagers like yourself.
