A sad day. Time to sell my trust-worthy Farallon 2300 Sportsman. The West 79th Street Boat Basin is closing for 5 to 6 years. The old marina will be removed, the area dredged and a new, modern marina built in its place. Current boat owners in good standing are said to be among the first invited back when the new marina opens. But even though I've owned 26 boats in my 50 years at the marina, I never owned a car, and there's marina nearby that isn't about 90 minutes each way using public transportation. So my boat is for sale. The video has all the details on my boat.
