In the series premiere of “Far Out,” host Megan Cruz invites you to walk on the wild side of Kennedy Space Center. With help from Herndon Solutions Group and Spaceport Integration's Environmental Management Branch, the episode explores some of the adventures of the spaceport’s wilder residents, including a gopher tortoise who caused a security breach, a Florida Scrub-Jay with an appetite for peanuts, and horseshoe crabs looking for love on Kennedy’s shoreline.
