Zaiydo | Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon - Any% Speedrun World Record 41:03 @Zaiydo | Uploaded 2 years ago | Updated 1 hour ago
My pb when I started to grind this game again a couple weeks before was 43:30, and now with many, many, many, many restarts I've got a 41:03. Just a couple days ago I was a bit sad when I lost a run on pace for 41:13, which would have been 10s faster than my pb prior to this run. But man, never in a million years did I expect a sub 41:10. 19 freakin' seconds off of my sum of best especially when factoring in all the early game trash you have to put up with, pretty fucking happy with how this grind turned out. And I know someone is going to mention no sub 41 no gg so I will be the first lmao, but seriously I don't wanna continue grinding for that. All that being said, I cannot finish this without thanking and giving a large, and I mean LARGE, portion of the credit to CashMayo and Binslev. These two guys are among the best competition I've ever seen and their knack for finding/developing new strats is insane. I'd like to start working on an Any% guide pretty soon because I think the beginner friendly mechanics of this game combined with how short and fast it is make it one of the best games out there to speedrun. If you have any suggestions for how I should go about doing that, lemme know.
