This isn´t just a trailer. I synced nearly everything that it suites Gungrave and not the trailer audio. So there is content in it and those who have already seen the anime will remeber the story and maybe more. Those who have not seen gungrave should have also theire joy while watching.

This was fast made. I set down on my ass and downloaded the trailer. I don´t know why, but I did it.
I watched and thought that it would fit with Cowboy Bebop, but finally I had the idea to make this amv with Gungrave and this anime suited the whole idea much better as I thought. After a bit work it was finally done. Than the beta tests came and Good for Nothing helped me alot. I tried to please his wishes as I could and wanted. Afterwards it looked more sweet.

I put effects into it and they were fun to make. In specially the "red" effect. I like it very much. Also there are Photoshop layers in it to round the content of the amv and to make more content. I´ve added original sound effects and parts of the anime and spend a bunch of time for the right scence pick. I hope that this is entertaining for a lot of you.
What I hope most is that you have the same feeling with this trailer like when your watching Gungrave. You know the feeling ;)
Seriously I really like to watch it. I don´t know but I´m currently not feed up with; quite strange...

I kew it, when I saw the first big trailers: Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 will be a banger of a game. The game was even better than expected. The cutsenes and dialogs are awesome and full of feels. Do yourself a favor and dont watch this video, if you plan to play the game.
This turned out to be my part for the connichi 2025 exclusive GMV contest. It took an unusual long time to get the right song for this. First I thought, that I will go with the band Moderat, but somehow ended up with this song. Im honestly not a fan of most Radiohead songs, but this one sticked to me, ever since Beowulfs 2003 NGE AMV. The influence of Beowulfs video are quite obvious and I hope you dont mind.
Game: Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
Song: Radiohead - 2+2 = 5 (The Lukewarm)
Recordings were made on PC in 4k with a 4080 SUPER. The game got modded for diasabling UI, freecamera and savegame modding. I beat the game twice for all the scenes. xD

This is an hommage to 1950s black and white kaiju movies like the black and white Godzilla movies.
Behind the scene notes:
Between my gf and me there is a joke: Is there a squirrel in your video? No? Than it sucks! ... Lets turn this around and put squirrels in this. Not just squirrels, but our favourite plushies that we love so much. So I got her a greenscreen morphsuite and put her into the professional greenscreen studio at my workplace. Its an idea, that I thought about pulling of at last years YuniCon convention.
Technical notes:
This was filmed with a Sony FX6. Some parts are even in 120fps 4k, but I dont think there was a visible benefit to it to be honest. Some assets like smokeclouds were created with Stable Diffusion and Midjourney AI. The reason is that, even if you pay for stock footage like Envato Elements, these kind assets are harder to come by than I would have thought. So why not generate them by myself and increase my AI skills too?
The video editing was smooth and fast. The cut was done in less than 8 hours. Most time took scene searching and of course the massive compositing work. My gf was so sweet to learn masking and helped me out on so many scenes. Love.
Also I was able to pull off every 42 scenes on sets in less than 42 hours and the vast majority worked out like a charm in post. This makes me quite proud.

I was guest of a small, but very nice lan party (RegionaLAN in Austria) and had my new Canon EOS 7D with me. I wanted to try the remote shooting functions of my camera. So I mounted it on my tripod and shot one picture for every 5 seconds from three different perspectives. You see the results in this video.
