I build this track from the ground up with only piano and erhu in mind. I later added on the bawu, koto and shamisen and it turned into more of a full sounding song. I wrote percussion for this track on 3 separate occasions but ended up deleting them right after I'd written them. I didn't sit right so, in the end, I decided to just drop the percussion all together and keep it more basic.
So while this is a calm far-east inspired folk track, I can't wait to do a metal remake. It's almost too easy and it's going to so much fun.
I'm running a Special Offer on Patreon for a couple of weeks, the Ranger class now gets all of the tracks I've ever done. So for $10 you get everything I've ever posted in pretty much any format you want, so if you've been thinking of buying the albums right now is the time!
I hope you enjoyed this tiny little track.
Commenting, liking and subscribing is very much appreciated, as is just listening of course.
Thank you for stopping by!
