The Rains of the West isn't my longest video, but it's pretty vibey. We were trying to outrun the rain, I was at my last stop, and we suddenly ran out of time. If all had been as it aught to have been, I would have had more focus on that cool arch!
As the rain came down, I brought in the drone and left. It never got super rainy, but it's just not a good idea to fly a drone in the rain. Especially when the price tag of said drone still makes you gasp a little.
The Rains of the West was filmed in the Custer State Park in the north end of Bear Gulch. Last time I uploaded a video from this general area, I mentioned some history. I've learned a LOT more since then and I'll tell you in the pinned comment!
