This track was made for a character who lost his one true love and made a dark pact with the Raven Queen to be reunited with her and let her once again draw breath. I drew heavily from this basic notion. The queen of death is represented by the vocals near the start and throughout. The character, a knight of some stature is represented by celli/solo cello, and the departed love is represented by the oboe in the later parts as she urges him on from afar to do what he must.
