"A great leviathan’s tail struck the ocean’s edge, opening a maw that would eventually give birth to a river and a valuable port. Over time, this port drew in people and creatures of all kinds to trade wares, do business, and live flourishing, colourful lives. This port was then dubbed Bến Tôm Rơi, attracting all manner of trades from across the globe, from gilded merchants to roguish pirates. The town birthed along the river’s edge became a golden haven, featuring a mix of French Colonial architecture built with South East Asian charm, populated with small boats, attractive shops, a vast array of lanterns, all framed by luscious plant life from surrounding jungles."
