Here we fade from the original camera file to the final composite.
This involves a multi-pass colour grade, a particle system to create the layered snow, and a particle system to create the misty breath.
This is about 3 days work. Funny, since the entire short film (2 minutes) took all of seven hours from concept - through costume - travel - shoot - and home again.
Shot on a sony EX1, in 1080 25p HQ, with a custom cine gamma picture profile to get the most latitude from the shot. We used a Letus Extreme with a canon FD 85mm f2.
