Stop-Motion Transformation of FansToys FT-44T-JP Thomas. Signed, Thomas. Hopefully Thomas will approve. I balked at the original release because it was way too expensive. I jumped on this version because it was so much less expensive and I like how the shuttle is white and the train is black. Transformation is pretty good, but they did have to include their signature floppy linkages. When you fold the train sides back to the wings, there are actually little indents molded into the wing to accommodate the metal wheel linkages, so be sure to rotate them accordingly. Couldn’t come up with a way to show that since the axles are loose. I did try to show that there is a metal button that unlocks and locks the hips at both ends of their travel (when going to/from Robot mode) so don’t neglect that.

If you want to follow along, I recommend skipping to the speed run and using your , and . keyboard keys to advance by single frames. Every step of the transformation is documented in the frames of the video, in what I consider to be the best sequence. With minimal rubbing and minimal parts-parking.
