Fans have gathered outside the hotel where former One Direction member Liam Payne died to remember him at a makeshift vigil.

Fans have been left shocked and devastated by the news of Mr Payne’s passing and have gathered to mourn.

The British singer died from a fall from a third-floor balcony in Buenos Aires.

Mr Payne’s family say they are heartbroken, releasing a statement recalling how “kind, funny and brave” the 31-year-old was.
