A competition has been announced by the city where I live to compose the "official soundtrack" for this year's New Year's Eve celebration. There will be a laser show on the biggest square in town and the winning piece will be played (sadly not performed live but still) alongside the show.

So I decided to go down the triumphant and celebratory route with a hint of sadness of leaving another year behind.
