For this tutorial I used two macaron kits by Sunfelt. The kit makes things quicker because all the pieces are pre-cut but you can easily make this with any felt and beads you have at home. Just pause the video to see how big the felt pieces are and use that as your guide when cutting shapes out.
The project is quite forgiving because you can hide your stitching inside the area where the macarons are glued together. Wherever possible, I recommend attaching the decoration pieces with needle and thread. NOTE: The thread supplied with this kit was not very good quality and tangled easily. If you have your own threads at home, then please use that.
The result is really cute and you can use it to make charms, pendants, necklaces or Christmas tree ornaments.
