Hey everyone! This pattern is pretty cool. I think this would make a pretty good accent cable for a glove. I hope you guys like and enjoy this stitch.

Instructions in Rows: (flat knitting)
This cable is 22 sts on a background of reverses stockinette stitch.

Note: Pattern written for only cable sts, not the reverse sts.

Row 1 (right side): P4, K4, P2, K2, P2, K4, P4
Row 2: K4, P4, K2, P2, K2, P4, K4
Row 3, 5, 7 & 15: Repeat Row 1
Row 4, 6, 8, 10 & 16: Repeat Row 2
Row 9: P4, C4F,P2, K2, P2, C4B, P4
Row 11: P4, K2, C4F, K2, C4B, K2, P4
Row 12: K4, P14, K4
Row 13: P4, K4, C3F, C3B, K4, P4
Row 14: K4, P4, K2, C2L, K2, P4, K4

Repeat Rows 1 through 16 to form pattern.

Special Stitches:
C4F = slip next 2 sts onto cable needle, hold front, k2 from left needle, k2 from cable needle
C4B = slip next 2 sts onto cable needle, hold back, k2 from left needle, k2 from cable needle
C3F = slip next 2 sts onto cable needle, hold front, k1 from left, k2 from cable needle
C3B = slip next st onto cable needle, hold back, k2 from left needle, k1 from cable needle
C2L = purl 2nd st on needle, then purl 1st st, slipping both sts off the needle

Abbreviations:
k = knit
p = purl
k2tog = knit next 2 stitches together
