Sometimes it is not the ride itself that makes a roller coaster memorable, but the adventure around it.
Here is what happened:
When we visited Guiyang Happy World the Family Roller Coaster was closed because several members of staff were working on the track. We asked whether the coaster would open later. After some internal discussions of the maintenance crew we were told that we could ride it in 15 minutes.
When we returned a quarter hour later the staff cleared the ride area and we were able to board the train to ride the coaster. Some other guest also had a ride on the coaster and then the coaster closed again so that the staff could continue their work.
Awesome! We hadn't thought that we were able to ride all coasters in the park!
