Gotta love how I said I was going to start uploading more wips, yet havenāt actually shared anything until now- XD
Anyway, hereās the first thing Iāll upload!
Interesting process with this one!
So the original traditional storyboard for this was actually created probably two and a half years (or so) ago! I scribbled down my idea in an old sketch book, but sort of forgot about it for a while (thus why the sketches look so old, lol). A year later I stumbled across it once again, and started on the rough animation!
Unfortunately this project has been pushed to the back burners for now, but you can see bits and pieces that have more progress than others, haha.
šCharacter here is my girl Scarlett (From āP.A.Wsā)!
To summarize the Idea/story behind this: The scene takes place after Scarlett loses her twin brother, Scorch. Sheās adapting to being without her closest pal, and cat she could always rely on. She may not have ever had any place to call home, and had always been a wanderer, but she always had her brother by her side through thick and thin.
Sheās essentially telling herself that she can tough it out on her own, and that sheāll be okay without anyone (though sheās not sure If she even believes that herselfā¦). So out of saddness and anger, she pushes away any other friends or family that she had previously started to open up to, no longer trusting anyone, and not wanting to risk feeling a loss that deep ever again.
Character and artwork is owned by āØyours truly.āØ But I obviously donāt own the song, please donāt sue me. Thank you.
