These are cold opens used for episode 7 Body Damage, Episode 8 Mr. Badwrench, and Episode 10 False Arrest. They only aired once in the U.S. After they first aired they were replaced with new cold opens to feature Steve Urkel. He first appeared in episode 12, but because he was so popular the producers wanted it to seem like he was on the show earlier than he was. The only place to see these cold opens now are on the season one DVD set. (Episode 4 Rachel's First Date also had a different cold open, but the DVD set features the Urkel replacement version.)
