Northeast Georgia History Center | Family Day: Valley Forge @NortheastGeorgiaHistoryCenter | Uploaded January 2023 | Updated October 2024, 1 day ago.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our free Family Day about the Continental Army at Valley Forge! During this event, visitors drilled like soldiers, created ciphers and writings with invisible ink, learned about women camp followers, listened to the stories of black Patriots and Loyalists, witnessed gun firing demonstrations, and even met General George Washington and Martha Washington!

A special thank you to Dan McMichael who portrayed General Washington and to Amy Beaucham who portrayed Martha Washington, as well as our wonderful team of interpreters, volunteers, and staff!
