What does family mean to you? Student speakers Kayson, JJ, and Matthew explore how families serve as essential "bridges"—connecting us to love, courage, belonging, and hope. Sharing their own experiences of navigating unexpected hospital visits, illness, and broken bones, the trio illustrates how family support provides a solid rock to stand on during tough times. Backed by research showing how strong family communication boosts mental health, academic success, and stress resilience, they remind us that while every family looks different, they all help us reach one another.
