One of the more ambitious mods for Fallout New Vegas just released a new playable demo called Fallout: The New West.
This mod is extremely impressive and definitely worth checking out. It aims to recreate the classic Fallout 3: Van Buren, the original version of Fallout 3 that was planned but never finished or released.
The demo starts with you waking up in a supermax prison with your memory wiped, apparently the subject of some kind of horrific Vault-Tec experiment. As the story unfolds, you will meet characters that longtime Fallout fans may recognize.
