Fallout 4 on Nintendo Switch 2 surprised me — not because it runs, but because Bethesda clearly spent time tuning it.

After playing the game, the 40fps mode stood out as my favorite way to experience Fallout 4, offering smoother consistency than the 60fps option during heavy action. Handheld play benefits even more thanks to Switch 2’s VRR.

Bethesda has also confirmed upcoming DLSS support and additional stability improvements, signaling real post-launch commitment.

This isn’t about Fallout 4 being new — it’s about what this level of care means for third-party support on Nintendo Switch 2 going forward.
