This location is considerably more difficult than those that surround it. Level 40 is probably the preferred level for this place, but you can do it at a lower level. Just make sure you have a psycho jet and plenty of shotgun shells to take on the Mirelurk Queen. She's very painful and soaks damage like crazy. Especially if you miss her face (which isn't easy to hit in VATS apparently). Save your crit for her and take her out as quickly as possible. There's quite a few other mirelurks here, but they're fairly easy at around level 35 (which is the level I was).
There are quite a few raiders here as well, and some of them hit pretty damn hard even if you' are geared and specced for damage resistance. There's a raider survivalist in power armor as well. Aim for his head and then shoot the hell out of him once his helmet flies off. I'd recommend a combat shotgun or combat rifle for the rest of the raiders. A combat shotgun for the mirelurks as always. I couldn't find anything worth looting here unfortunately, though the mirelurk queen meat is pretty nice. It's a pretty large location as well, so bring plenty of ammo and stimpacks/food.
