A psyker is someone who possesses paranormal or psychic abilities. They're incredibly rare in the Fallout universe, with most known examples appearing after the Great War as a result of radiation, FEV, mutation, chems, stress, isolation, and so on and so forth and what have you.
Their abilities can take all sorts of forms, from telepathy and precognition to controlling animals and even attacking other people's minds. I actually have a dedicated video covering the known psykers in Fallout, so check that out next if you want to learn more, but that list may have been missing someone rather interesting from Fallout 4…

![Vaults Youve [Probably] Never Heard Of | Fallout Lore
The vast underground shelters built by Vault-Tec were said to be a way of ensuring a portion of the American population would be saved in the event of nuclear war. But in truth, most Vaults weren’t built to save anyone. They were experiments, designed to gather data for the Enclave. According to Tim Cain, the plan was to use that data to build a generational star ship to colonise another planet if Earth became uninhabitable. But looking back from 2025, that vision feels less like a plan and more like a fantasy. The Vaults now seem like a playground for the elites, with only a few serving as genuine shelters. Whatever you believe, the Vaults are fascinating. And the ones I’m about to cover are considered, technically, non-canon. They come from cut content, concept art, and development leftovers. But that doesn’t mean they’ll always be non-canon. Fallout has a habit of digging up old ideas, like vault tec wanting to start the great war, something that almost happened in the cancelled fallout movie but was then confirmed in the fallout tv show.
Anyway, most of these Vaults are mysterious. We know almost nothing about them. Some have no known location, others no known purpose. But a few scraps of detail give us something to go on...
