This is a small tutorial or guide on how to fix the dreaded bug of not being able to draw weapons; use V.A.T.S; throw grenades, that happens during the quest Family Reunion during a certain non-violent sequence. This guide is pretty simple but only works on PC as it uses console commands to correct the game.

The commands to reset both layer 1 and 0:
ResetInputEnableLayer 0
ResetInputEnableLayer 1

The command to check to see if they are both set to NONE:
DumpInputEnableLayers

Again to recap both layers should be set to none if it says fighting under any of the two layers then reset the layers using the codes above.
