In Fallout 3, you can find many oversized and undersized items and objects, which have been scaled up or down compared to their usual size. Some of them are useful, but more often than not they only serve as decoration and some of them can’t be collected without console commands. Also, these items behave a little differently. You can still pick them up and drop them again, but you can only do it a single time without their unusual size changing back to normal… However, there is something you can do to prevent this from happening, and that’s simply shooting the item before picking it up… I’m not sure why this works, but I can confirm it does.
