Firelance is a variant of the Alien Blaster and is one of the most powerful weapons in the game. It uses Alien Power Cells, a unique ammo that is extremely hard to find. It is spawned by a random encounter.
1. The location of the "Firelance Event" is not fixed and is random.
2. The Firelance will degrade extremely fast compared to most weapons throughout Fallout 3. But even in bad condition, it is still a very powerful weapon.
3. The Firelance sets its target on fire upon strike.
4. When it spawns it makes a explosion and gives off radiation and leaves 24 alien power cells with it.
