12 years ago I bought a motorcycle.
I knew next to nothing about motorcycling, and had no idea what sort of adventures I would end up having on it. I liked the look of the CB500X and bought one of the very first to arrive here.
It has far and away been bettered as an Adventure Bike ever since, even by its own later models, but somehow it has taken me on countless amazing adventures.
From my initial tentative local rides, to big tours on the tarmac, to even bigger ones on the amazing dirt and gravel roads of Australia, it has been a 130000Km+ journey of discovery I would never have imagined.
Since that day I have learned that a 17" front wheel is no good off road, and the stock suspension isn't either, I really don't care, off road is where I take it as often as I can, because this is MY Adventure Bike.
