I decapsulated a chip that has "STM32F103C8T6" written on it; however, revealing its silicon die shows that this chip is actually a counterfeit STM32. It is not uncommon that cheap STM32F103C8T6 boards, especially the "bluepill" boards from different cheap websites, have counterfeit chips. I will try to decap a genuine STM32 in the future to show the differences.
