UPDATE: After thinking it over, I've decided to change the title of this video from "Early, Leaked Version of Daft Punk's Discovery?" to "Fake 'Beta' Version of Daft Punk's Discovery". In retrospect, I should've written the script in a way that revealed the album was fake at the beginning instead of trying to build it up and reveal it towards the end. It's really obvious that this is a fake so there wasn't much reason to try and create suspense over that. The point of this video wasn't to try and debunk this obvious hoax. The point was to analyze it and shed some light on this sparsely documented album.
Daft Punk's sophomore effort "Discovery" is one of the beloved albums of electronic music. However, not long after its release, an "early beta" version was passed around online. However, there has not been much discussion of it. In this video, I take an in depth look at the album.
