Seeking a spouse can be a meaningful and sincere desire, and that prayer can play an important role in that pursuit. However, faith does not guarantee an easy life or the fulfillment of every personal wish, as some people may be called to remain single and all believers will face hardships.
God’s guidance is present even through suffering, not necessarily by preventing difficulties but by providing support through them.
Prayers may be answered in ways that are not immediately apparent. Physical healing may not always occur in this life, but healing and restoration take place in eternity.
Drawing on Christian teachings about Jesus’ death and resurrection, suffering is temporary when viewed in light of eternal hope, present hardships are outweighed by the promise of future resurrection and life with God.
