Part 4 of our 2024 European Road Trip and this has been on our list of must visit places for years! Thanks to inspiration from James Martin off the telly, we left Northern Spain and crossed the border via an epic drive to the South of France. The weather was closing in so we tried to beat the rain....

This week we stay on a beautiful rustic French campsite in the woods complete with it's own donkeys. With a canal cycle path all the way into the amazing fairy tale city of Carcassonne it was the perfect stop to explore this fantastic gastronomy region of France. Complete with local food and some not so local beer we explored this amazing area!
