(UPDATE 1/15/21): The Fairfield Chuck E. Cheese did in fact permanently close. Pictures have surfaced of the store with the front exterior sign removed, the road sign without the CEC logo, and pictures of the inside of the store show that many posters were removed. It is said that the store art and animatronics are being sent to Michigan, but I do not know the legitimacy of these claims. It has also been said that space where CEC used to be will become a new arcade/FEC, just without the CEC branding or animatronics.
Original description: News just broke today from @thececboy on Instagram that the Fairfield Chuck E. Cheese’s did not close permanently and is not cleared out. Hopefully this means the new owners of the building will buy the franchise and the Fairfield CEC will be here to stay.
