The Weekender Drop sits at the top of the Weekender line. It ties together an excellent parts kit with our versatile Weekender frame and fork. The Drop is a true 10-speed with a dynamic range thanks to the 11-40T rear cassette that has been paired to a 42-T Narrow Wide chainring.
SRAM’s Apex lever easily shifts through gears and the SRAM X7 Type 2 rear derailleur provides an extremely solid feel to the drivetrain. Avid BB7 road disc brakes paired with our Fairdale Linear cables (by Odyssey) stop with authority. 2-piece cranks with an oversized spindle have been paired to a sealed, outboard bearing bottom bracket so you can put all of your power to use.
The chromoly frame and fork allows for a lot of tire clearance, and you’ll find Continental 700c tires on the M, L and XL and Maxxis 650b tires on the XS and S. They’re wide enough to soak up bumps, without feeling slow. Equipped with rack and fender mounts for lots of set-up options, as always.
