Russia’s Soyuz-2-1b rocket launched with the Meteor-M weather satellite on Tuesday, alongside an international secondary payload of eighteen small satellites. However, the Fregat Upper Stage suffered a failure which resulted in the loss of all the satellites. The Soyuz lifted off from the Vostochny Cosmodrome in eastern Russia at 14:41:46 Yakutsk Time (05:41 UTC, 08:41 Moscow Time).
