With so many facial tools available now, many of which come quite costly, the one I love using the most and really makes a difference to not just how my skin and face looks, but how I feel, is the gua sha. I've had gua sha body treatments for years specifically to help areas of pain and inflammation. But gua sha for the body and the face are very different.
I had my TCM practitioner teach me how to do this correctly, the technique and sequence (full disclosure, I've done it incorrectly and my face was a mess the following few days) and the different acupressure points in my face. From there, I focused on what works best for me and boy, does it work! Many of you have asked me how I use this simple tool. I incorporate facial acupressure which I never realized how much I needed until recently. Even my mood is affected after I do this facial massage so I hope you enjoy watching and can do this along with me!
