As of January 4, 2020 Face-Puncher combined with Roided Rough Rider shotgun still works. You have to equip and unequip the shield over and over (dont forget to make sure it is equipped when you exit the menu). I only did it a few times to demonstrate it working, you can do it as many times as you like
