Sorry for the late upload - I was supposed to have a Making of Video go up yesterday, but I didn’t finish editing it in time. :( It will be up next week for sure, and in the mean time here is a filler-ish video. I’d hoped to share a really great website for cheap fabrics, and show that making historical costumes doesn’t have to be expensive. And I (think?) this video accomplishes part of that goal - I did end up getting enough fabric for several complete projects, some of which will only cost $30 to make. But I did have a few issues with my order, which I go over in the video.

Since this video was more negative focused then planned I just wanted to mention that the fabrics are all nice quality materials, ecspecially for the price, I was just really surprised by the damage to them. It's very possible that they were busy with the sale and let usual standards drop.
I'm still really looking forward to working with the materials. And none of the issues are horrible. It's more the fact that almost every material had an issue of some sort that I find troubling.

19372 / Tan Plaid “Shantung" - 7 yards
16379 / Pale Yellow Stripe Cotton - 8 yards
16246 / Ivory Semi Sheer Rayon 5 and a 1/4 yards
42635X/ Brown/Rust Plaid Tweed Suiting 1/2 yard
