How to Edit BETTER Gaming Montages! (TOP 5 TIPS) Rocklan 2022-08-13 | In this video I show you my top 5 tips for editing and making your YouTube gaming montages better! I use Valorant clips but you can use any game! This video applies to all editing software not just Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro but also Sony Vegas Pro, Davinci Resolve, Wondershare Filmora X, Final Cut, Hitfilm, etc. I show you how to fix the flickering crosshair in your montages caused by motion blur (RSMB) using masks and content aware fills as well as how to save quality on your videos when exporting multiple times! I also cover why editing at 24fps is sometimes better than 60fps and talk about how to color correct your gameplay clips more accurately. My final tip is about repetition in your edit and using similar yet different effects to create a similar montage but be more varied and enjoyable to watch. How to Make SLOW MOTION SABER GLOW Effect for Valorant Montages / Edits Adobe After Effects Tutorial Rocklan 2021-01-05 | In this video I cover and teach you how to create the rainbow, glowing, saber / ecto, slow motion / twixtor effect for your Valorant montages. This effect was popularised by Valorant editors like Ladiff, Ethos, Flights, ruffls4prez. I have recieved many requests to make a how to edit ladiff montage tutorial / how to make ladiff effect tutorial so this is essentially a ladiff editing tutorial but using Adobe After Effects instead of Sony Vegas Pro. In this tutorial I use Adobe After Effects to create the effect and apply it to my Valorant clip. The main effects used are uni.ecto, twixtor, 4-color gradient, gaussian blur and brightness and contrast. I teach you how to easily create and combine / blend together the ecto saber glow with a twixtored clip to make the rainbow saber glow slow motion effect. The steps consist of importing and cutting down your clip, adding twixtor to make it slow motion after your kills and then masking out the weapon and applying the universe ecto effect to it to create the saber. The saber can then be heavily customised for example adding rainbow glow effects using the 4-color gradient effect.
