The apothecary was the only source of useful potions in F2P, so he was a very popular NPC among players - a bit too popular, in fact, since it was often difficult to talk to him, due to so many players trying to get strength potions from him at the same time.

This video goes over my memories from 2003-2004 and some nostalgia related to this NPC.
