December 2007 test is thought by Raytheon researchers to be the only successful intercept of a ballistic missile by an air-to-air missile fired from a fighter. Two Ariz. Air National Guard F-16s fire two NCADE missiles (AMRAAM with an AIM-9X EO-IR seeker). (F-35 fires AIM-120 at 1:07-1:12)
