There is no doubt that V8 engines are coming back to F1. But exactly what that plan looks like is being shaped right now.

The Race's Jon Noble was among a select group of media who got to hear FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem's idea for a brand new, fully independent F1 engine builder for the V8 switch in the 2030s.
