It is also officially licensed by Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), the host of the annual Formula One World Championship. This song also has T-Square's hit song "Truth", officially licensed from T-Square's Masahiro Ando; "Truth" is an official theme song for the Formula One World Championship as broadcast in Japan by Fuji TV. The music for this first arcade installment of Video System's F-1 Grand Prix video game series was composed by Masato Arikawa and Naoki Itamura. This arcade installment as well as its arcade sequel uses the Yamaha YM2610 OPNB FM Chip, as most famously used in SNK's Neo Geo MVS arcade system and the Neo Geo AES console.
