I want to match the Vanquish KMC Tank rims in their gold color, and for that reason I need to start blending several colors together to create the exact color that I want to have. In this video I show you how to make a spray out, how to create a color swatch and how you can keep track of your recipe for future reference. In addition I don't want to use stickers, so I will take you through the process of painting the window frames and to top things off I will show you how to ghost some graphics into your paint scheme to finish things off.This truck is jam-packed with features such as portal axles, brass inserts, selectable overdrive, three position dig, helical cut gears, oversized axle inserts, brass tube inserts, stainless links and so much more. This latest offering from Vanquish features their electronics setup carrying the Vanquish brand, among them a 2.4Ghz radio system that features 4 channels, a 200 oz-inch metal gear steering servo, a 3 cell LiPo ready ESC and a 35T brushed motor. The Fordyce comes with the VFD transmission case which has an exceptionally low center of gravity and can be equipped with a dig servo.VFD . The radio system is fully prepared to deal with anything you can throw at it. The straight F10 axles boast some high entrance pinion gears, an easy to build and maintain cradle for the ring and pinion gear, oversized bearings and chromoly axleshafts. 47 degrees of steering angle in the front assures a tight turning radius and the 6.5% overdrive that you find stock can even be elevated to 46% with the optional servo installed. An off-center front pumpkin and centered rear make ensure a realistic look, while also giving the Vanquish VS4-10 Phoenix one of the most level, balanced drivetrains on the market. The FMS Toyota FJ45 is a great base for such a build, especially using my new xTool laser cutter. Early Earthroamer inspired 70’s camper topper? YES please! This is a very versatile machine, which will allow you to not only use a blade cutting function for making for example stickers, but it also features a 10W diode laser which lets you laser engrave anything from stainless steel, anodized aluminum, leather, wood and a heap of other material, but also allows you to cut wood, cast acrylic, and much more. The built-in camera gives you a live capture of the contents of the machine, and through its own Wi-Fi connects allows you to scale and design your project in the xTool Creative Space software ahead of processing. A built-in fan ensures you can expel any type of fumes immediately and the full enclosure keeps your eyes protected from the laser beam during execution of a task. Combined with the xTool riser base, the M1 gives you the option to engrave some taller materials, and the honeycomb bottom plate is amazing in allowing proper airflow to ensure you have the cleanest laser cuts possible. Along with the Air Assist my M1 is completely decked out. The Air Assist provides a continuous airflow which avoids scorching, cleans your cuts and overall yields the most perfect results you can wish for with this equipment. This is a very easy and safe to work with machine that allowed me to create a few products that I did not think were possible in such a short timeframe. For the sake of demonstration, I'm customizing an FMS Toyota FJ45 truck with some walnut and basswood from the xTool materials package, to showcase how user friendly the machine is and how I was able to get results quickly. The FMS Toyota is a very detailed, 1/12th scale truck with a huge pickup style bed, which is a great base for customization. Inspired by a 1950's commercial truck which I've seen in France, I decided to create a wooden bench section with room for some advertising to turn the Toyota into a HemiStorm Brewery vehicle.The blade cutting function turns the xTool into a plotter that more people will be familiar with, and in quality it can easily compete with known names out there such as the Cricut machines. The Losi RZR Rey is here, based on the Polaris RZR SXS vehicle, the Losi RZR Rey is the first of its kind, boasting some true to scale independent rear suspension with trailing arms! This exact copy of the full-sized vehicle is a part of an all-new developed chassis which packs a lot of new features compared to the previous Rey vehicles. Getting this suspension sorted to this level is no small accomplishment: the shocks have bleeder caps, there is a sway bay installed and the overall look of this new RC vehicle is a very life-like copy of the UTV as we all know it. Despite the Losi RZR Rey being advertised as 10th scale, the truth is that it is a far larger car than that. Some math teaches us that it is actually 1/6.71, seeing as it is based on the popular and versatile Turbo R model. I hope that multiple versions of these trailed suspension SXS vehicles will be released in the months ahead, as I am super excited about this new licensing agreement that has been made with Polaris. The straight F10 axles boast some high entrance pinion gears, an easy to build and maintain cradle for the ring and pinion gear, oversized bearings and chromoly axleshafts. 47 degrees of steering angle in the front assures a tight turning radius and the 6.5% overdrive that you find stock can even be elevated to 46% with the optional servo installed. An off-center front pumpkin and centered rear make ensure a realistic look, while also giving the Vanquish VS4-10 Phoenix one of the most level, balanced drivetrains on the market. Launched as a 1/10th scale vehicle the first thing that immediately catches the eye is the size: IT IS HUGE! Mimicking the Casey Currie King of the Hammers race truck, a Trophy Jeep, it takes a lot of full-size styling cues and branding. Some of the licensing partners are KMC wheels, Nitto tires and Baja Designs. Overall the setup is understandable, and I'd say pretty novelty in it being a larger size truck with an incredible amount of detail. Losi durability and parts availability make this a winner in my book. Now, to run it and after that customize it. I'm finally taking a look at the Arrma Fireteam 6S Brushless Assault Vehicle. This is a 1/7th scale side by side off-road with a four seat configuration, with four heavily armed men ready to attack any type of terrain! This thing looks futuristic, straight out of a video game like Call Of Duty, Halo, Gears of War or even Metal Gear Solid, if that still rings a bell. There is a molded cage, a lot of body panels and detail throughout to ensure there is plenty to look at while seeing this thing up close. GATECRASHER! Armoring the Element RC GateKeeper with the Artful Dodgers HemiStorm RC 2022-01-14 | Today I'm adding some extra performance, rigidity AND coolness to the Element RC GateKeeper. Element RC Enduro GateKeeper kit has been one of my favorite trucks ever since I assembled it and took it out on the trails, it is very capable. There is however always room for improvement and in this video I'm adding a full skid plate set from Artful Dodgers. Made from metal with a brushed finish, these armored parts line up with all the stock holes really well and are a breeze to install. Not only do they add some merit in lowering the center of gravity ever so slightly, they also add a lot to the look of the truck.
