The Cauldron - World Record | 5:42 | Elder Scrolls Online Tomfoolery 2025-08-26 | Well... this is something, we haven't really been trying to do full dungeons when nuking things as its just more fun for us to just walk into a boss fight pre buff for as long as possible and than make the boss disappear.This run it self is awful, as well we kinda forgot how to nuke Baron during our attempts and never did it as fast as we know we can givin the pre buff length. There's also a lot we can do to optimize this even further but honestly eh. Ultimates are interesting in something like this where you maybe get 20 seconds between bosses to generate ultimates. We don't fully understand "boss" 4 and how the titan spawns and were basically playing off luck with if we killed boss 4 in any amount of time that didn't suck. Along with this I ended up running the slop because our runner has ping issues and it made it super inconsistent which is fun but yeah.But yeah givin the Baron nuke and something im going to be posting later we could easily drop 6 seconds off this and maybe more if we didn't suck at adds and standing on doors. De sync in this game makes judging when everyone is stacked on something impossible which isn't fun. Deathbringer | Naj-Caldeesh Trifecta | Elder Scrolls Online Tomfoolery 2025-08-21 | This was done on the first day of release but ahhhhhhhh we struggled a lot with this. Multiple Pox resets and then some unfortunate on final.Though out that struggle we did find a way to avoid his screech.You can mist form and streak through it. Good luck with that being consistent though.Naj is overall harder than Black Gem as black gem can end a tri once you learn the fights really only on 1 boss unless you're cal then you can end it on every fight heart. But Naj every boss is capable of just ending your run. Black Gem Foundry | Hardmode Guide | Elder Scrolls Online | Feast of Shadows Tomfoolery 2025-08-18 | Haha the 2nd one I'm uploading, Black Gem is well a lot easier once you know it kinda. The first boss is well rough, if you do it to quickly its hard if you do it to slowly I can see it being hard so its just yeah. 2nd isn't all to bad but has some interesting mechanical challenges. Final is well final its fun and it all revolves around figuring it out. Thats the reason for the disclaimer on finals portion of this video.I kept the secret bosses out of the video because they are kinda just punching bags and aren't really needed. Naj Caldeesh | Hardmode Guide | Elder Scrolls Online | Feast of Shadows Tomfoolery 2025-08-18 | Naj is one of the dungeons released with the Feast of Shadows DLC, this dungeon is more of your typical setup. 3 main bosses and 3 secrets, the biggest change is to how the secrets are done. Overall on difficulty of this dungeon I would put around the last few with Exiled Redoubt still being by far the easiest released recently.I hope people enjoy this video and learn something from it I debated adding how to nuke these bosses into it if possible but I don't think a lot of people will get something out of that so I decided not to. Naj is weird though and has some pretty unique mechanics, though the bosses themselves aren't the most unique as a whole but individual mechanics are. Feast of Shadows Early impressions | Elder Scrolls Online Tomfoolery 2025-07-24 | I try to be more positive when content is released... I typically look at it from the perspective of I expect ZoS to utterly destroy and nerf anything that was strong the prior patch so for me nothing really change. I also just look at it as new content to explore and problem solve against. Which my group did a very good job on on the PTS this time around. Overall though Feast of Shadows Dungeons are fun at the very least and actually have good repeatability vs some of the newer older stuff. This sentence doesn't make sense to me either. I personally enjoy Naj far more as one thing not brought up in this video is something a good friend of mine and myself have in common. This is a hatred towards the art direction ZoS had been taking recently and just the color pallets they have been choosing to use over the past 2 - 3 years. While yes Black Gem is mostly shades of blue there is lava there is Greens in the final and its just more interesting to look at. Naj is doing it even better because Naj is just Argonian place number 2000 however it looks distinctly different and uses colors very well.Its weird how for me something as small as making the place look more interesting can make me want to actually go walk back in and actually engage with the content. But yeah mechanics wise these dungeons aren't out of the ordinary in terms of how difficult they can get. They seem to hit the difficulty ZoS is seemingly going for with newer dungeon content.If you want to know where it stands for me, ZoS peaked in difficulty for dungeons around Greymoor Chapter all the way through to Coral Aeries DLC these dungeons in this time slot are generally far harder than most recently made content for that matter. I would say Feast of Shadows is harder than whatever the other dungeon DLC is called but not by much. These dungeons ask a little bit more out of the player than something like Exiled Redoubt but really thats not saying much.I do plan on making guides and they will probably be on the longer side this time because of instead of just explaining what the mechanics do I want to have sections for newer players where info is easier to digest and one for people going for the tri but want help with strats and other things that can make certain things easier. Nuking Dungeon Bosses 2 | Elder Scrolls Online | Feast of Shadow Tomfoolery 2025-07-14 | This is just a showcase of whats possible within the current meta stuff may change over the PTS but man is this not fun as hell. Currently theres stuff that we are working on and things we want to keep private for a little while. Nothing in here is overly complicated but yeah.As for the nukes themselves a lot of them aren't really viable within a trifecta run setting as some of these require a lot of RNG to go your way. However they are all possible within this context though and could potentially be done within a tri run. We currently think around 13mil is the upper limit on an acuity burn but theres some stuff we are testing to see if it goes up a little or what not. Naj - Caldeesh | Trifecta | u47 PTS Tomfoolery 2025-07-09 | Welp heres the other one not going to say much again saving thoughts for a week 2 to see what happens. Though this place needs a balance pass, its weird because final can just not do damage but then other times try to nuke you. I will say these are probably 2 of my favorite dungeons this one more than the other. They got the wow factor correct finally... The argonian behemoth doesn't actually do much while outside the arena but while out there is a well thing. Hes always there is big and looks cool. this is something that I felt is lacking recently. Ossein Cage and more recent content just kinda make the fights 1v1 against the dude where this felt like something else. Its a sad day. But yeah overall its easyish... not really though its a puzzle once you figure it out its over.Fun fight though super mech heavy but nothing to hard. Normally theres a lot I would like to change due to circumstances we might not control. Ansuul Hardmode | 5:19 | Sanitys Edge | Elder Scrolls Online Tomfoolery 2025-07-05 | So uh... yeah Ansuul done in almost 5mins thats a thing. This is something I've wanted to share for a while, and its weirdly a strat thought about because of how crag runs Ansuul.We do Ansuul far differently to other groups, we push our burn back to manic. We don't stop our burn to align with Portal the only thing we do is hold ultimates until manic. We had to find a way to push portal to the point where we would come out at manic and then with enough of a push you can entirely skip post manic mechanics. We gain basically all the time we lose by not having to deal with the 2nd Wrack and or Wrathstorm causing players to stop damage to avoid mechanics.We also got Ansuul to the point of not even letting her cast Wrack in execute but ika died and well now sad.Portal is a whole nothing thing we fully built around getting the people out of portal as fast as possible. This allows us to help with the burn post manic. Subclassing for Tanks | Bone Tyrant | Elder Scrolls Online Tomfoolery 2025-06-23 | Hey its Bone Tyrant or better know as Necrotic Potency. You will basically be taking this skill line for Necrotic Potency and that's it as most of the other active skills are either easier to source from something else or just don't serve much of a purpose. There are however some instances where the Passives alone will make this tree with taking as 15% DoT mitigation is worth it... Looking at you Bahsei.Also there's wheres Waldo kind just put in here though hes not hard to find because hes a duck.Uh more about the tree some of it is interesting some of it isn't overall its just another tanking tree that do be a thing. Did change the graphic overlay a little and think its much better from the first version. Subclassing For Tanks | Winters Embrace | Elder Scrolls Online Tomfoolery 2025-06-16 | This is something I've been wanting to start since the PTS cycle started. Also Im not 100% set on how information is displayed there is probably a better way but this is what I came up with. The space requirement for some of this stuff is quite a lot but the next one might be significantly different from this one.Back to the topic at hand... Winter's Embrace is probably one of the easiest skill trees to force on a tank. Frost Cloak is basically required and offers selfish skills that are very very strong.I do want to start streaming some of my runs but we'll see. But I hope people enjoy these videos. Overfiend Kazpian HM | Ossein Cage | Elder Scrolls Online | Subclassing Tank Tomfoolery 2025-05-07 | Well heres the final boss, so reasons for 2nd not really happening we've been progging it throughout the PTS getting good runs but only running 2 days a week we could never fully get through it. The other issue arises when they change the boss every week making it impossible to actually keep progress. We've learned a lot about it and we took it slow on learning second but feel like we could have cleared week 3s version of the boss.The problem now is that boss 2 is literally impossible due to a bug. You just have top pray to RNG that things line up properly or something not 100% sure yeah.Final boss is well very simple, Molag Kena's platform is rough but once you get used to it it shouldn't be to bad. This was a long fight just due to learning as we went. This was our first time seeing final platform. Malog took around 3 attempts to get down. (We've learned more about this fight recently to make it far easier however just trying to go through the motions right now.)Overall the trial is very easy compared to recent trials especially after 2nd boss nerf. Does help the Mount is the best Tri mount in the game. I want to keep this positive because we are all super happy with the outcome. I joined this group late into the core (still ran for 20+ days after) but we got it.I love to say that I played like crap and it was just a funny thing. Also do not worry about the first spider I didn't screw nothin up. Though I was trying to jump on the head of the spider. Uh buff uptimes are not something you need to look at to closely. Whoops... Subclassing Parse | 165k | u46 PTS Tomfoolery 2025-04-25 | So uh this isn't really that great i've had better parses week one though NB wasn't nerfed a little so idk. There is a lot wrong with this parse because im bad at skill prio but uh you know even when you not very good a the pressing buttons big number go brrt. I wanted to keep going but I have 3 massive issues with parsing that I just can't get over... 1. My flail just stops working? Like I just don't generate crux and its random. So thats tilting af.2. For some reason my ulti gen just turns off randomly for some reason there are times when I miss light attacks actually a few but looking through a lot of my parses the ult gen just doesn't makes sense oh well.3. Detonating Siphon is the more frustrating skill in the world. You can be mid cast animation on an INSTANT cast skill and the corpse can just be taken from you.But nah maybe I'll keep parsing I probably wont because I just hate parsing and would rather just run stuff but I do still do it every so often to make sure I don't suck to bad still suck though :). Anyway I hope people are enjoying the new systems I have a lot of videos being planned and recorded.Oh also this meta is funny everyone is doing 170k+ ST so uh rip any real AoE fight also Azure still got nerfed finally so thats funny.Uh dungeons are funny making something on that uh other thing think fast... It's also probably do able in HM but not worth it in any capacity. Also it's just stupid. Some info on the trial we have figured out how the 2nd boss HM fully functions and know what to. Now doing it is something entirely different however we know it for the most part. First boss is very simple in concept but spirals super quickly and can lead to quick wipes but is super fun to tank.Final I have zero information about and couldn't tell you want anything is doing in that fight but oh well. Chimera HM | One Phase | Arcanist OT Tomfoolery 2025-03-02 | While this isn't anything special as One Phasing chimera has been around forever, I'm just uploading this as a progression milestone for my MM group. We one phased while beating his timer and not because we got lucky mechanic orders at the end. We do some special stuff with setups but nothing really weird. Overall its just a pretty normal fight but everyone did their job well.Big shout to @VarkariVarykino for putting up one the highest tank parses on this pull. He has a weird job on this fight just due to how we wanted to setup for it.More on why I played in a corner the entire fight. We are going back and forth right now on whether or not we want a 10th DPS the problem arises when I'm setup for that lost healer but we end up not doing it. So I kinda just end up with a bar that makes 0 sense. I have a lot to fix on this fight we can improve it a lot and I want to but yeah it is what it is. Oh also I called pillager late on this pull which is sad because 2? people missed it... rip.Oh the reason I'm playing an Arc is a funny story not really but imma tell it anyway. I've moved classes and roles about 8 - 10 times in this cores some amount of raid days so ya know it do be a thing. But we settled on arc and let me tell you I hate it. It helps our damage I just hate the class it just feels clunky. Short answer is yeah its a lot more powerful under certain circumstances. Harmony has the benefit of being a trait while Reduce Cost is an enchant so you can use them at the same time. Along with this Harmony gives Stamina and Health. One of the other reason Harmony is so strong is Arcanists, they add another 6 person synergy to the game with Runebreak. Azureblight... The Set That Wont Die Tomfoolery 2024-11-01 | Welp azure got released off PTS where everyone including myself thought the set was dead... Turns out this set doesn't die. Its now potentially stronger than it once was though this is due to a bug and nothing to do with the nerf. Also depending on what they do to the set it could come out fine are get shot into the sun. We'll see but I felt like I had to make this video because the last one ripped on Azure saying it was terrible while it turns out its not :/.ZoS can we talk about this... It would be great if sets would explain things like how the cooldown works whether its a global thing seeing as Azure shares blightseed stacks but nope its per person... Like why, make it make sense. Planesbreaker | Rockgrove Trifecta | 299,254 | Little Village Pug | Necromancer Tank Tomfoolery 2024-10-28 | Ok here's going to be a lot...Thanks to Jaycro for putting this together, I really played like crap for the first hour. More on this later but yeah it was a lot of fun. This is my first PB and wont be the last one unlike most the other trials I don't mind doing this trial over and over again.More about the run, I played like a scared child... Mainly because I was. I was playing to not throw once we got past Oax. The reason for this is generally speaking I feel really good about my Bahsei but the first hour we ran I caused more wipes than I think I have in other progs in the past month. It was bad I felt bad because I was playing terribly. So you can say I clenched a little when Bahsei showed up as a potential thing i would have to do at 36 / 36 vit.Oax himself was super simple they we're being super nice and tabbing the first mini to not deal with that. Other than that nothing special happened besides Jaycro being a dumb.Bahsei, idk what happened the first Abom did a fat 180 out of no where and slammed. Kinda sucks would have loved to get PB with a good Pringle stack but oh well... Other than that again was just playing to not throw.Xalvakka is where I never thought I would care or play scared because with 2 tanks I basically do nothing the entire fight but yup played scared... I don't personally mind it just due to not even thinking we would get there with how the first hour went but yeah.More on the first hour, this was a Pug setup by Jaycro and I was invited for some reason lol. But I'm usually pretty confident in the way I tank Bahsei but for some reason for the first like hour of the run Bahsei it looked like it was going to be a Prog as if everyone in here had never seen her fight before. This was entirely because of me.The other thing about thing about this was, this was the warm up run... Azureblight Got Nerfed... Maybe Tomfoolery 2024-10-26 | Azureblight got the stinky throw it into the sun treatment... Or did it even after making this video I'm not 100% sure. Azure lives and dies based on the number of enemies within the proc. Some stuff I want to talk about in the video is the biggest issue with the way I and most people seemingly tested it is things in ESO die and or don't stand still. Azure isn't just going to be hitting 5 things for 30 minutes it will change during the fight... Other than that AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH testing this was a pain in the butt. I am not good with Google Sheets and my brain was already mush when I started this so trying to make a google sheet not suck is rip.I also learned some stuff about Weapon and Spell damage that is annoying as heck. There are some invisible weapon and spell damage buffs and they scale weirdly from what I've found. Cryptcanon... But its Actually Acuity Nuking Tomfoolery 2024-10-19 | For what its worth Cryptcanon enables certain strategies that makes bosses funny. Overall however Crypt is just a super strong mythic overall, this along with Arcanist insane burst and how little their Languids cost you can end up with some funny burns.Some stuff about the video none of the burns in the video were all that great. We are still learning the setup mainly me learning the timing of everything and getting them their ultimates back at a good time. It's not hard just funky when juggling like 20 other things. It is a fun time however.More about future plans...Man I want MM to finish we doing good I'm throwing a lot right now for some reason. Tanking Mythics Are Terrible Tomfoolery 2024-10-10 | Well this was not the video I was expecting to make this week but I recently starting look at some non Meta funny builds. My god every single one of these is terrible lol. There's probably some use case for each of these but general use in content is just not there.The only one that has a funny build is DPS tanking with a mag toon with Esoteric Greaves. Youre Probably Using Damage Shields Wrong Tomfoolery 2024-10-01 | Welp there goes uploading once a week. I had massive writers block this week and couldn't finish a script to save my life :P. I got through this as its something that was on my mind recently. Overall im pretty happy with the video overall. There's some corrections I had to make with subtitles due to getting a new microphone and not having it setup 100% right now. Some of my words weren't picked up and just some overall weird audio. it'll get better overtime as i figure out how to use this.Shields are probably the second most important thing a tank can know about besides how mitigation works. Damage Shields don't function how many people seem to expect them to. TLDR Damage shields get worse the higher the base damage of the hit is.I've had my mind being melted by Ansuul recently so thats fun but hopefully it's done soon.
